Read VoIP Review Before Making the Big Switch

There are many VoIP service providers available today, and it is imperative that you check out VoIP review before making a big decision.  Yes, switching to VoiP is an easy decision to make, but choosing which provider is trickier.  That is why this article compiled different reviews on top VoIP providers to guide you in choosing the best one for you.

This VoIP review will compare top VoiP providers, VoIP.com, ViaTalk, Vonage, and Packet8 based on important factors such as price, features, and other special offers.

Among the four, VoIP.com ranked the highest overall rating (5 stars), followed by ViaTalk and Vonage (tied at 4 stars), and then Packet8 (3 stars).  In terms of price, ViaTalk offers you the most value from your money, as it offers low prices for limited usage, unlimited plan, and business plan.  ViaTalk also offers 3 months free.  However, you would have to pay an installation and cancellation fee.

For the features, VoIP.com has the most number, but of course, you would have to pay a higher price.  But keep in mind that these features are very important.  Out of 30 features, the only thing they missed out on is the Video Phone.

ViaTalk missed out on 9 features, including Video Phone, Add a Line, Bandwidth Control, Distinctive Ring Tones, Do not Disturb (DND), Ring List, Anonymous Call Rejection, International Call Block, and Repeat Dialing.  Because of its low price, it is somewhat expected that you do not get much features.

Vonage missed out on 2 features, including Do Not Disturb and Video Phone.  It is also quite expensive but cheaper than VoIP.com.

Also, Packet8 missed out on 9 features, including 411 Information, Soft Phone, Add a Line, Bandwidth Control, Ring List, International Call Block, Repeat Dialing, Call Transfer and Caller ID w/name.  But even with all these features missed out, it is the only one among the four that offers Video Phone.  Its prices are relatively low, just a notch higher than ViaTalk.

All these are very important in deciding which service provider to choose, depending on what matters to you most – cost or features.  If you can do away with so many features, and instead focus on what your budget can get you, then of course you can choose either ViaTalk or Packet8.  If you have the financial resources to spend more so that you can enjoy more features, you can go for VoIP.com or Vonage.  It really depends on what suits your preferences.

So, in the end, reading VoIP review can really be beneficial in guiding you about choosing the right VoIP service provider for you.
